PLAB 1 - MLA Content Map Update from September 2026

Please know that the GMC is making some updates to the MLA content map, which will come into effect from September 2026.

The revised map builds on the existing content, with some additional conditions and patient presentations being added rather than major changes to what candidates are already expected to know.

The content on the Plabable platform has been updated in line with the revised MLA content map, so candidates preparing for the upcoming November PLAB 1 exam can be confident that they are revising up-to-date content.
