About Us
Plabable was started from a passion of a junior doctor who struggled to find a good resource for the PLAB exam. He made it his goal to create a revision platform that would deliver accurate and high-yield information for the exam yet remain affordable to all. That passion drew the attention of others who then as a team worked to establish the platform we have today.
With the help of the team, we have written more than 4500 high yield questions that mimic the PLAB part 1 exam and addresses the Medical Licensing Assessment (MLA) as they begin to merge. Our explanations aim to deliver concise learning points giving you the best opportunity to pass on the first attempt. Our content is written and reviewed by ourselves, our NHS colleagues and those who have passed the PLAB exam. We constantly review user feedback and turn it into teaching material that is beneficial for everyone.
We take pride in staying on par with the current changes in the NHS and we consistently update our questions and explanations to ensure you have the most up-to-date information. The information we provide is evidence-based and comes from various reliable sources such as NICE Clinical Knowledge Summaries, NICE guidelines, Patient.info website as well as expert opinions from our NHS specialist colleagues in the field.
We also offer a range of exciting features for our subscribers. This includes 3-hour mock tests mimicking the actual exam, a comment section on each question for discussion, progress stats against your peers, concise revision guides for quick revising, hand-drawn images for better illustration, creative mnemonics for better memory and dedicated Whatsapp groups for discussion! We at Plabable specialise in PLAB 1 and the MLA Applied Knowledge Test! We have handpicked NHS doctors passionate to teach who have gained knowledge through their own personal journey. Together, we have built our highly effective exam course (the 4-day Revision Course).
Our first course began with just 2 attendees back in 2017. We now have several hundred candidates joining each course.
