About Us
Plabable was born from the vision of a junior doctor, Sze who set out to create a high-quality, affordable resource for the PLAB exam. Frustrated by the lack of reliable revision tools, he teamed up with his wife, Ching an NHS pharmacist, to build a platform that could truly support aspiring doctors. What started as a simple idea has grown into a trusted resource, powered by a passionate team of NHS professionals and successful exam takers, all driven by the same goal: to help others succeed where support was once lacking.
Our content is written and reviewed by NHS colleagues and candidates who have successfully passed the exams. We continuously refine our material based on real user feedback and stay aligned with current NHS clinical practice. All our questions and explanations are updated regularly using trusted sources like NICE guidelines, Clinical Knowledge Summaries, Patient.info, and expert insights from NHS specialists across the UK.
We also run a variety of live and on-demand courses and webinars to strengthen your understanding and build your confidence ahead of the exam. Our flagship 4-day Revision Course, taught by handpicked NHS doctors passionate about teaching, distils years of experience and exam insight into a structured, high-impact format. From our very first course with just two attendees in 2017, we now welcome several hundred candidates to each session, which proves the trust our community has placed in Plabable.
